Northland Masters Tennis Club

If you are over 30 and enjoy tennis, it’s time for you to consider becoming a Northland Masters member at the very low cost of $25.

We play regular competition matches with other teams from as far south as Counties throughout the season. We have team selectors who choose the teams from available players for these if you are keen. Our full fixture list is outlined on this webpage below. 

We also run two tournaments. One is the Charlie Tana Handicap Mixed Doubles. Greg Miller and Raewyn Heywood have been winners for the last few years so they need challenging! This tournament is for members only. The other is our Northland Masters tournament that is open to anyone who is a member of a Masters club in NZ.

Currently our club officials are: President Paul Ramsay, Secretary Moira Newton and Treasurer Dave Lobb. Team selector is Keith Cocking and he is looking to co-opt a female helper. Committee includes Raewyn Heywood, Barry Newton, Shelley Yeates, Margaret Harper, Dawn Rogers. Feel free to talk to any of these people.

Membership allows you to be eligible to play in the rep teams as well as other Masters Club tournaments throughout the country, and national tournaments, of which many of our players enjoy participating in.
