This tournament is about bringing back the bygone eras of tennis. Whether it be like our club founders in 1929 or those flamboyant tennis stars of the 1960/1970s come along dressed in your best tennis whites and play with a wooden racquet. 

Registration ends: 15 March

Tournament Date: Sunday 24 March

Time:  1:30 PM briefing 2:00 first games

Format: Doubles tournament yankee style played with green dot balls

Singles and doubles Club championships:

Preliminary games :  to be played across March

Doubles final : Saturday 6 April  (rain day : Sunday, 7 April)

Singles final : Saturday 13 April  (rain day : Sunday, 14 April)

Weekly social games

Tuesdays nights

   6:30 to 8:30 p.m. 

If you are new to the club, new to tennis or just want an extra social hit during the week then pop  along to this session. The format may vary each week depending on numbers attending. You can be guaranteed of games that are  set to be inclusive of all abilities. No need to book, just turn up.

Wednesday and Thursday nights

   6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Organised match play.  Draws are made up by Tuesday night. If you wish to be added to the draw for these nights please email southbrightontennis@gmail.com

Friday mornings

   10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m

The format may vary each week depending on numbers attending. You can be guaranteed of games that are set to be  inclusive of all abilities. No need to book, just turn up.

Saturday afternoons

   1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Open to all levels. 20 min rounds of match play. Draws are made up on the day.
