Tawa Tennis Club caters for all levels of coaching and can provide both group and individual coaching.
Junior coaching
Tawa Tennis Club has a range of junior coaching options under Tennis NZ Hot Shots programme. Preston Joe and Adam Mawby will take the junior coaching groups under the guidance of Isaac Walton (Head coach as Waikanae Tennis Club).

Senior coaching
Adult coaching is available on Monday nights. Martin Lowis takes all adult coaching groups at Tawa Tennis Club. Martin coaches at Paraparaumu and Paekakariki Clubs with the support of Leonie Ware, Head Coach at Paraparaumu Tennis Club.

Private coaching
We have a couple of coaches who take private and group coaching lessons. These are dependent upon court space at the club.
Adam Roberts - Adam is returning to Tawa Tennis Club. He will pick up some private coaching and a junior development squad on Thursdays.

Adam has two decades of coaching, fitness and sports management experience working with all ages and stages of players. Adam has experience working with ATP and ITF level players as well as experience in creating and implementing successful development programmes for junior players. Most recently he was the Coach Development Manager for Tennis New Zealand where he focused on enhancing coach training and development programs to build capability of coaches in performance, junior development and business management.
Eli Blackshaw - Eli currently has a full schedule.
Eli is a Premier 1 Mens team member at Tawa Tennis Club and has come through the local tennis coaching system. He recently returned from attending a training academy in Spain and completed in ITF tournaments while he was away overseas. Eli is the 2024 Champ of Champs for Tennis Central region and has a promising tennis career ahead of him.
