Superwomen’s 7th Sep 2024

The 2024-25 Interclub tennis season kicked off on Saturday with a win for Waiheke Tennis Club Superwomens team against Koru at the ASB Tennis Centre.  Captain Nicky Ogilvie and Emily Kenyon won their first match 8 games to 4, with Sarah Hazell and Robyn Kerr coming up short in a tie break. Waiheke triumphed in the second round with Emily and Robyn comfortably winning 8-2, and Nicky and Sarah winning 8-6. Third and final games were well fought,  whilst Nicky and Robyn lost 6-8, Emily and Sarah delivered an overall match win to Waiheke with a dominant 8-3 win in the final game.  A solid start to the season for the Waiheke Tennis Club.
