The L J Hooker Waihi Beach Masters Tennis Tournament (for over 30's) was played on Saturday, 14th January.  A full field of 14 pairs of ladies & 20 pairs of Men contested the event.

Local player Laura Richardson teamed with her partner Delwyn Guilford to win the Ladies Div 1 section, while Steve Bowen & Kevin McLoughlin carried the day in the Men's Div 1 section defeating another local, Mark Richardson & his partner Steve Buckmaster in the final.
