Tennis Western Bay of Plenty - CLUB OF THE YEAR 2022/2023

Our club has been part of the Western Bay Community since 1953.  

We aim to provide the community a place where they are able to play tennis in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for the full 12 months of the year.  We cater for all levels of ability starting at junior level and  right up to seniors. We are known as Tauranga's Family Friendly tennis club with many intergenerational families.

Facilities

We have the following facilities available to our members:

• 8 Astro Turf courts fitted with lights for evening play up to 10pm
• Coaching for all levels
• Licenced Bar (Cash/Eftpos available)
• Full Kitchen
• Bathroom facilties
• Professional coaching expertise
• Multiple club organised playing opportunities
• Organised club days and night play,junior and senior tournaments,business house evening play
• Fully club funded junior coaching sessions-only club in WBOP Tennis to do this
• Full year junior coaching
• Junior interclub teams club shirts provided
• NZT Hotshots venue
• A  great atmosphere!

Date: Saturday 21 September

Time: 1.30pm onwards

Come along in your tennis whites, or channel your inner favourite tennis player for a fun afternoon of tennis.

We will run our standard club day, followed by some fun games and have an afternoon tea at 3.30pm (bring along a plate to share).
