Tennis Western BOP Tennis Association is a not-for-profit sporting organisation.

Tennis Western BOP is responsible for the promotion, development and administration of tennis in the Western Bay of Plenty Region, incorporating its 10 affiliated clubs.

Tennis Western BOP is partnered with Tennis BOP in support of the BayTrust Coachforce program for junior development in the schools and clubs of the greater Bay of Plenty.

Tennis Western BOP hosts two major events every year:

Zespri AIMS Games (September) - One of the largest junior sporting events in the southern hemisphere. 2024 AIMS welcomed a record 12,660 competitors, representing 395 schools and 27 sporting codes. More info on the AIMS website and more on previous results and code tennis here.

EVEs Open ITF World Tennis Tour (December) - Men and women with official ATP and WTA ranking points come and battle it out at Papamoa tennis club; a world-class knock-out competition with 32 singles draws for men and women, 16 pairs doubles draws.
