Senior Interclub
The club encourages its stronger players to compete in Tennis Central competitions. Our seniors compete in Premier men and women grades, Senior mixed grades in summer, and the Winter Interclub.
All summer competitions play on Saturdays 1:00 - 5:30 pm. Winter Interclub is played on Sundays.
This 2023/24 summer season we have eight Interclub teams competing:
4 Men's teams: Premier 3, Mens 6th grade A & B and a Men's Dbls team in a newly created comp.
2 Women's Teams: Premier 3 and Womens 2nd
2 Mixed Teams: A and C
Please enquire if you are interested in playing in an interclub team. Shared positions in a team may be possible. Summer Interclub involves approximately 15 weeks. There is no interclub played during January.

2023 Season Wrap-up: The 22/23 Season has been a season of consolidation for Waikanae Beach Tennis Club. Whilst we had a couple of promotion contenders and relegation near misses all our teams will start next season in the same leagues as they did this season.
Over the last couple of years we have increased the number of teams we enter for Interclub, but as nearly all our teams have at some point struggled for players I feel we will be unable to increase our number of teams again next season.
However it would be great to increase our pool of available players that are keen to play interclub, so please contact me at craigjackson1411@gmail.com if you want to play interclub tennis this season.

Junior Interclub
The club had nine teams competing in both the Wellington and the Kapi Mana pre Xmas and post Xmas competitions.
Kapi Mana Mixed Grades are played on Saturdays from 9am - 12pm.
Wellington Grades and Kapi Mana Mixed Novice is played on Sundays from 9am - 12pm.
Parents need to provide managers and transport for teams.

- Kapi Mana Mixed D Grade - Rally Cats - 5th (by 1 point!)
- Kapi Mana Novice Drop Shots – 3rd
- Kapi Mana Novice Smart Aces - 4th
- Kapi Mana Novice Match Points - 9th (out of 11)
Congratulations to the following who made the Kapi Mana team for the Tennis Central Junior Teams Event Lily Williams 16U, Hannah Crawford 14U, Lola Fifield and Otto Fifield 12U and Kate De Munnik 10U.
Congratulations to Kia Elvy who made the Kapi Mana team for the Tennis Central Hexagon Senior Teams Event.
