In light of the Government’s announcement today Tennis NZ is making the following recommendations:

LEVEL 3 - CURRENT SITUATION
-All sanctioned group programmes and coaching should be cancelled until further notice
-One on one coaching is still permitted
-The recommendation to Clubs is that they cancel all group programmes & coaching
-The recommendation to Clubs is that they remain open for member play only, however no gatherings of more than four people (i.e. a doubles match), all of whom must adhere to the Tennis NZ hygiene guidelines. Clubs should gather information about who is playing. Clubs should make serious consideration about their indoor facilities remaining open and if so have guidelines about how many people are able to enter at any one time (i.e. one in, one out).

IF THE NZ GOVT RAISE THE ALERT LEVEL TO 'LEVEL 4'
-All tennis programmes and coaching to be cancelled, including one on one coaching, until further notice
-Tennis centres will be closed until further notice
-Tennis NZ recommends that all clubs are closed
-Tennis NZ recommends that all club play is cancelled, including one-on-one coaching

These restrictions and recommendations will remain in place until we advise of any changes.
