The volunteers behind the club
Patron | Shirley Brown | Veteran club player now in her 90s who has been the lifeblood of the club until she retired from the committee in 2017. |
President | Ian Tennent | Life member and our well established veteran player who still actively plays competitions as well as leading the charge with all working-bees and looks after general maintenance. Ian is a West Coast Tennis Association (WCTA) delegate. |
Vice-President | Frank O'Donnell | Life member and poster-boy for our social tennis scene. Keen supporter of youth development. |
Secretary | Mandy Taylor | Mother of 4 top junior players. The go-to person for any tennis questions about our club. |
Treasurer | Brian Blackman | Long standing member who oversaw the recent resurfacing and lighting project. Brian is involved in all facets of club activities, including coaching our juniors. |
Senior Captain | Lee Coram | One of the top sportsmen on the coast, Lee has been involved with coaching our regional representative junior players and is currently one of our top doubles players. He is always keen to get new adults involved in tennis. |
Assistant Senior Captain | Nigel Russ | Another one of our long standing members who helps coordinate senior club play. |
Twilight Captain | Andrea Hages | Has recently come to the coast and has taken the role of running our twilight tennis competition run on Monday evenings, and will put any keen players into teams. |
Junior Coordinator | Mandy Taylor | Mandy organises all junior coaching and junior activities for our club as well as overseeing the Junior Interclub and Emerging competitions. She is involved in junior representative selection and is the tournament controller of all Club and West Coast Junior tournaments. If you want to know how to get your child into tennis, she is the person to ask. |
Hall Hire | Ian Tennent & Mandy Taylor | All questions regarding hiring the club for a special event can be directed to them. |
