Lower Hutt Tennis Club offers a wide range of tennis coaching services that cater for all ages and skill levels.
Our coaching programme is designed to help every player achieve their tennis goal, all while having a lot of fun & a lot of laughs on court.

JUNIOR SQUAD COACHING AT LHTC
We have squads available for all levels of juniors, beginner through to national competitors.
8 Week group programmes run on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout all school terms with Hot Shots groups for ages 5+.
Red Stage (ages 5-7): Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-4:15pm
- 25% compression tennis balls and modified court sizes for the younger players.
Orange Stage (ages 7-9): Tuesday and Thursday 4:15-5:15pm
- 50% compression tennis balls and larger modified court sizes.
Green Stage (ages 9-12): 5:15-6:15pm
- 75% compression tennis balls and a full sized tennis court.
Development Squad 6:15-7:30pm
- Aimed at interclub or tournament level players.
- Matchplay-based training with fitness elements and tactical development.
PRIVATE COACHING AT LHTC
We offer private coaching to all ages and levels at the club. To organise a lesson please contact progresstennisnz@gmail.com
Private lessons can include 1:1 ratio coaching or private groups.
Please note private lessons are subject to availability of the coach.
Costs of private lessons also differ depending on experience of the coach.
