Over the past year, Tennis One has been steadily expanding, not just in size, but in presence, people, and purpose. One of our proudest recent steps forward has been bringing the Tennis One experience to Pakuranga Tennis Club.

Same philosophy. Same energy. A new place to play.

Why Pakuranga felt right

Pakuranga is strongly recognised for its local tennis culture , families, juniors, adults, and players who genuinely love the game. When the opportunity came to extend our coaching and programmes here, it felt like a natural alignment.

A Little Tennis, A Lot of Vibes

Tennis One x Solo Social Club at Mission Bay

You know those nights where everything just flows?
No rush. No pressure. Just good people, good energy, and a reason to smile.

That was our recent social tennis night at Mission Bay Tennis Club,  in collaboration with the legends at Solo Social Club and honestly, it was something special.

This wasn’t about who hit the hardest forehand or who won the most points.
It was about movement, connection, laughter… and letting the evening unfold naturally.

Tennis, but easygoing

From the first hit, the vibe was relaxed and welcoming.
Some people were picking up a racquet for the first time. Others were dusting off old skills. Everyone fit right in.

Games flowed, partners rotated, conversations happened effortlessly. One minute you’re chasing a ball, the next you’re laughing on the sideline with someone you met five minutes ago. Very Kiwi & Very smooth.

Why this collab just worked

Solo Social Club knows how to bring people together without forcing it. Tennis One knows how to make tennis feel inclusive and fun. Put the two together and you get a night that feels more like a social gathering than an “event”.

No awkward icebreakers.
No pressure to perform.
Just people showing up and enjoying the moment.

The reel from the evening says it all.... smiles, high-fives, relaxed rallies, and that unmistakable feeling of “yeah… this is good.”

Mission Bay magic

Let’s talk about the setting. Evening light, sea breeze, courts buzzing with energy. Mission Bay did what Mission Bay does best. The whole place felt alive. Tennis blended perfectly with the surroundings, turning the courts into a social playground.

More than tennis

Watching new connections form, hearing people ask when the next one is, seeing everyone leave with that post-event glow, that’s the real win.

Fiji Holiday Tennis Camp :  A New Chapter for Tennis One 🎾🌴

A huge thank you from Tennis One New Zealand! 🇳🇿

We are so proud to have hosted our very first overseas tennis camp in the beautiful islands of Fiji. This was a big milestone for us, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing people who made it happen.

To our brilliant organizers, Krista Kivi and Nelson Cuellar your passion and dedication kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. And to Talita from Vinaka Travel, thank you for making the journey effortless by handling flights, accommodation, and every detail in between so our players could simply relax and enjoy.

Most importantly, to our wonderful players from New Zealand, Fiji, and even one who joined all the way from Australia, thank you for bringing such energy, sportsmanship, and joy to the courts. With 16 players on one of the world’s most iconic islands, this camp was a truly unforgettable experience.

And we’re just getting started.....
The Tennis One family is growing, and we’re already preparing even more exciting events. Our next Fiji Tennis Camp dates will be announced soon, and if this first camp is any sign, places will go quickly!
