Wanaka turned on a beautiful day for the inaugural Crown Range cup tournament between Queenstown / Arrowtown and Wanaka. We had a total of 56 players. Not often you get NZ no.1 boys for U18, U16, U14 and U12 all on the same courts - needless to say, some amazing spectating took place watching these athletes compete…Perry even managed to get a couple of games from Kai Milburn! Took one for the team there….

The Cup was won by Wanaka with a score of 50 - 34 points. I am sure it will be very popular and hotly contested to get the cup next year!

The 2 different Social grades were won by Kattis and Norrie and Tony and Jacque. 

Incredible food prepared by Jan and Fiona and a delicious dessert from Black Peak Gelato.

The raffle with the generous prize from Quartz Reef will have raised some great funds towards the juniors as well.

So all in all, a fantastic day enjoyed by all! Thank you to everyone who competed and contributed to the day.
