Club Championships Off to a Fantastic Start
The first weekend of the Wānaka Tennis Club Championships was held on 7-8 March, featuring the Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles competitions. It was a wonderful weekend of tennis played in great spirit, with many club members coming along to watch and enjoy the excellent matches on display.

Congratulations to Jackson and Monty Parrant
A big congratulations to Jackson and Monty Parrant, who represented Southern Lakes at the Southern Primary Schools Tennis Tournament in Dunedin. After meeting each other in a closely contested semi-final, Jackson went on to win the tournament and will now compete at the South Island Championships at the end of November.

Southern Lakes Competes at South Island Super Seniors Tournament
The Southern Lakes tennis team participated in the South Island Super Seniors Tournament held in Dunedin last weekend (over-55 years). We played Canterbury, Canterbury Country, Otago, South Canterbury, and Southland/North Otago.
