Welcome to Beckenham Tennis Club, a friendly local club located at Beckenham Park on Norwood Street, Beckenham, Christchurch

Beckenham offers competitive and social play to both adult and junior players. There is a comprehensive coaching programme for juniors.

Adult social tennis events on Saturdays from  1pm, and, during summer, Thursdays from 5.30 pm.  Come  along and play!

We also participate in the interclub competition, for our members that like a real challenge.

Centenary Celebrations

Beckenham Tennis Club is 100 years old this year,  Events were held in September. A taste of some of the archived material is posted on our Centenary page.

Regular fixtures for members 

Please note at these times the number of our courts free for casual play is limited.

• Senior Club Day, Saturdays 1pm - 4pm (no courts free for casual play) 
• Thursday evenings -  Mens and Womens doubles fixtures at Wilding Park, pay-to-play, roster TBA

Adult Coaching

Tuesday nights 6 .30 to 7 .30 (beginners)

Cost is $150 for the term 

Twilight Tennis

This fixture is now closed. Twiilight tennis will resume Thursday 28th September 2023 with the return of daylight saving.

Cardio Tennis

Social fun drills and games to music for senior players. All abilities and non-members are welcome to join.

6.30 - 7.30 pm every Monday night during daylight savings. $10 per person.
