ABOUT HELENSVILLE TENNIS CLUB

The Helensville Tennis Club was started in 1913 and celebrated its centenary in 2014. Its home was adjacent to the Croquet Club in Awaroa Road until 1994 when the club contributed to the establishment of Rautawhiri Park Trust.

There was a short period the club went into recess however it was revitalised in 2006-2007, reincorporated in 2013 and has continued to grow stronger since.

In 2015 the club was successful in securing the Community Lease from Auckland Council for the Rautawhiri Park Pavilion and the four astro turf courts. Securing the lease for the Rautawhiri Park Pavilion and the astro turf courts will allow the club to continue to support the existing user groups, actively promote the availablility of the pavilion to the wider community while protecting and improving the assets.

We welcome visitors and new members at all playing levels.
