Winter Tennis Special - swap the couch for the court!
At Talavera Tennis Club, we believe tennis is an all-season sport. Even in the depths of winter, you can keep your game sharp thanks to our excellent court lights, allowing for play into the evening.
We are currently inviting new members to join our club with reduced Winter Membership rates, valid now through September 30, 2026. This is a significantly lower cost entry than our standard annual pricing, making it the perfect time to get active, meet new people, and enjoy our facilities.

17 October 2026, 5-7pm, Talavera Tennis Club's 90th birthday celebrations. Join us for a glamourous 1930s themed party to celebrate our 90 years of tennis fun and fitness, with drinks and nibbles, music, and a prize for the best impression of a 1930s tennis player. Everyone welcome, so bring your kids!
New Constitution for Talavera Tennis Club
As a result of the enactment of the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, all New Zealand incorporated societies are required to adopt a new Constitution prior to April 2026. Accordingly, our AGM adopted a new Talavera Tennis Club Constitution to replace the version 1977 version.

Talavera Tennis Club is the Capital's coolest little tennis club.
We would love you to join us, use our great facilities and enjoy tennis at our beautiful, tree-lined city oasis. Have a look at the Membership tab - the new season starts on 1 October. We offer discounted rates for the winter season!
We offer senior club sessions, coaching and private lessons. We have a number of junior interclub teams.
