Pickleball is a sport that combines elements of tennis, ping-pong, and badminton. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes, on a court similar to a tennis court, but smaller. The game can be played by two or four players, who hit the ball over a net until one side fails to return it or breaks a rule. The game has a two-bounce rule, which means that the ball must bounce once on each side before players can hit it in the air. The game also has a non-volley zone, also known as the kitchen, which is a 7-foot area on both sides of the net where players cannot hit the ball unless it bounces first. The game is easy to learn, fun to play, and suitable for people of all ages and skill levels.
