Head Coach, Kate Williamson (ITF qualified Tennis Coach)

Kate graduated University with both a Law Degree and a Bachelor of Arts.  She gave up her career outside of Tennis to pursue coaching professionally in 2015.  Since then Kate has become qualified as Junior Development Tennis Coach through Tennis Australia/New Zealand.  She has over 15 years coaching experience both in New Zealand and Australia.  

Over the past 7 years since returning to Christchurch, Kate has led coaching programmes at many different clubs in Selwyn as well as being the Ellesmere Representative Coach.  Kate is very knowledgeable in the Hot Shots coaching philosophy through both on court coaching, and having spent time as course facilitator for Tennis NZ teaching others how to use these coaching techniques.  Kate is adept at running junior group sessions, adult classes (such as Cardio Tennis/Tennis Express) as well as one on one high performance lessons.
