Gabriel Hernandez - Head Coach:
Im super excited to now also be part of the Pt Chev tennis club community and looking forward, as the new head coach, to reach the full potential the club has and together with Ezequiel and the rest of the coaching team at the club, we hope to deliver one of the best tennis programs in the area.
I’ve played interclub in the past, representing Eden Epson at Caro Bowl & CB Reserve, Howick for CB Reserve, as well as Sunnyhills for a number of years.
I also got awarded Coach of the year by Tennis Auckland, and been runner-up for Coach of the Year and Official of the Year at the Howick sports awards recently.
And I also work at many of the biggest tennis tournaments in New Zealand as an Official, including the ASB Classic, WTT & ITF tournaments, Davis Cup, Junior Nationals etc.

Ezequiel:
I've been coaching tennis since 2017. I started out in Argentina and moved to New Zealand six years ago. After the pandemic, I relocated to Auckland and began working at various clubs around the area. For the past four years, I've been coaching alongside Gabriel in the Pakuranga area.
In addition to holding an ITF Level 1 coaching certificate, I'm also a certified personal trainer and sports journalist. I'm passionate about sports and love teaching them. Since I was a kid, I’ve trained and competed in both football and tennis.
This year, I’m excited to be playing interclub tennis for Point Chevalier. I’ll be available for group, private, and shared lessons.

Hey I'm Tom, I have been a member of Point Chev Tennis Club since I was three years old. I have been living in the UK for the last three and a half years and have recently moved home. While living in London I completed my level three tennis qualification through the lawn tennis association.. I coached tennis at a London tennis club and before this I was an assistant coach at Point Chevalier..
I love tennis and am passionate about the Point Chevalier tennis club where I have grown up and played for as long as I can remember. This year I am playing for the Caro Bowl reserve team.
I am available for group or private coaching.
