Junior Interclub

Joining an Interclub team is a fantastic way to put all the skills you learn in coaching and club play into use.  To register your child for Interclub, please fill out this Term 4 Coaching Registration Form

Teams play short-format singles and doubles matches, both at home and at clubs around the Tennis  Auckland region.

There are two 6-8 round competitions-  play in one or both.   Pre-Xmas fixtures begin the last weekend of Oct and end mid-Dec.  Post-Xmas fixtures start mid-Feb and finish by the end of March. 

Players new to match play under the age of 13, can start in the Beginner Grade (based on club players numbers).   This is a very supportive environment designed to players learn the rules of the game and beginner serving.  Established players enter the Open Grades generally based on age.  Match times are Sunday morning (9am both grades). 

Junior interclub competition is included in the annual membership fee.
 

🏆 Junior Interclub Training

For our junior players who represent PCTC in interclub, we also offer free interclub training on Thursday afternoons:

• 4:00–5:00pm – Younger Interclub Teams
• 5:00–6:00pm – Older Interclub Teams

These sessions are focused on match preparation, tactics, consistency and building confidence ahead of interclub competition. More information about Junior Interclub will be coming next month.
