Member's Guests

Birkenhead Tennis Club welcomes guests to the club who are accompanied by a club member. A payment of a small court hire fee (per visit) of $5 per adult and $5 per child prior to playing with any club member (including non-member family members).

Under 18s

We do not provide supervision for children at the club, with the exception of coaching on a Tuesday and Junior Hits on a Sunday for those that have registered.  Please drop off and collect your children from the club  for these sessions.

Please ensure any junior members or guests have appropriate adult supervision for their safety.

Northern Tennis Club Guests

Current Tennis Northern Region (TNR) members of other local clubs can play free with a member (as a reciporical agreement).  The Birkenhead Tennis Club member must always be playing on the court.

Potential New Members

Potential new members can play at the club only during Senior Club Days (Wednesday evenings or Sunday afternoon), 3 times before we will ask them to join as a member to continue using our club facilities.  Please introduce yourself to any club member or ask for a committee member. 

Court hire

Casual court hire is available at $20 per hour per court.  This is based on Clubspark booking solution (paid by credit card).

Clubroom hire

We do not hire the clubrooms to non-members but allow these to be hired along with courts for our members and their guests only for tennis related events.  Please reach out to a committee member if you are looking to provide a tennis orientated event.

Coaching

Non members who receive coaching from the offfical club coach (Daniel Millward) or their assistants do not need to pay any addition to their coaching fees paid directly to the coach. 

The above fees outlined relate to the 2024/25 season and are subject to change based on the Birkenhead Tennis Club Committee.  Please check prior to making a booking at the current charges.
