A New Look Kohi Tennis

Kohimarama Tennis Clubhouse varies in age from the 1960s through to a 1990s addition and requires a significant amount of maintenance. In recent years the club has invested significantly in court surfaces and lighting. Clubhouse maintenance and development is now the key focus...

We have first class courts. Now we are committed to upgrade our kitchen and bar area to provide a facility that serves club members, casual players and community users of the facilities.

Fundraising intiatives

During 2024 the club have successfully completed 2 major projects which made up Phase 1 of works planned.

April/May : Refurbishment of club kitchen area and relocation of bar space to form central kitchen/bar hub. This project was soley funded from members donations and club fundraising projects. Total cost $54000.

May: Replacement of playing surface on courts 7&8 at a total cost of $59800. This was achieved with grants from TAB, North & South Community Trust and Blue Sky Community Trust.

Ongoing  maintenance carries on with courts, fencing & lights. 

Fabulous result to combined kitchen and bar spaces fully funded by members. An outstanding result.

Phase 2 of work to be carried at in the clubhouse will be replacement of the carpet in both the lounge and mezzanine areas. Anticipated cost of this work will be between $10,000 and $15,000.

Several fundraising events are planned for the coming months to support the replacement of the carpet.

  • Party Night with live band "OLD SCHOOL"  November 8th

Supporting club events is a fun way to support the fund raising efforts of the club, however if you would prefer there are other ways to donate.

Join the 50K Club:

The 50K Club is seeking 50 members to each donate $1000. Remember with the tax rebate this amount drops to $666. 

A tax rebate invoice will be issued via email
