The following competitions are offered in Mid Canterbury. There is a mix of social & competitive competitions for both adults & children of all abilities.
Junior Interclub [Jnr A , Jnr B & Jnr C]
Played on Saturday mornings. Players must be affiliated to a local Tennis Club & be registered in a team.
An Interclub competition for teenages, played on Saturday mornngs at 11 am. Players must be affiliated to a local Tennis Club & be registered in a team.
Competitive Interclub games played in the afternoons at the Ashburton Trust Tennis Centre. Players must be affiliated to a local Tennis Club and be registered in a team.
Social adult competition played on Saturday afternoons at 1 pm on the grass courts at Allenton Tennis Club. This is a doubles only competition for players aged 30 yearsplus.
Any person 30 yrs & over is eligible to play Seniors Tennis. Players of any ability are welcome. Every effort is made to have people playing others of a similar ability. The aim is to have fun playing and to enjoy socialising with other tennis players.
A Business House Competitive competition played on Thursday evenings at the Braided Rivers Community Trust Ashburton Tennis Centre. Teams consists of four players and play three rounds per night.
A fun doubles competition played on Wednesday evenings from 5.30 pm to approximately 7 pm at the Braided Rivers Community Trust Ashburton Tennis Centre.
