If you have purchased a discounted adult or junior membership recently, please note that this membership is valid only until 30 September 2026. These memberships are intended to provide access to the club for the remaining three weeks of the current coaching term.

Juniors: A new 2026/2027 membership will be required to continue Term 4 coaching at the discounted member coaching rate.

We offer a range of annual membership options for adults, seniors and junior players. Our membership year runs from 1 October to 30 September.

NLTC MEMBER BENEFITS

• NO COURT BOOKING FEES FOR MEMBERS
  Play year-round with no court booking fees. Discounted rates for lights still apply.
• COACHING ACCESS
  Access professional tennis coaching programmes at member rates.
• PLAY INTERCLUB
  Represent NLTC in regional competitive tennis, with social and competitive levels available.
• CLUB LADDERS & CHAMPS
  Some events are only available to club members. We organise club ladders and our Club Championships.
• FUN TENNIS EVENTS
  Our volunteers run a variety of fun tennis events throughout the year.

Which package should I choose?

Things are organised a little differently this year.

Choose a membership based on your age for full club membership and access to social tennis, coaching, club events and member court booking.

If you are playing Interclub, you will need to add the appropriate Competitive add-on before checkout, based on the number of teams you are playing in as a main player (not a reserve).

• Senior Competitive – 1 team: Choose this if you are registered as a main player in one team. This also applies if you are a reserve only, or if you are playing in one team and are a reserve for other teams.
• Senior Competitive – 2+ teams: Choose this if you are registered as a main player in two or more teams.
• Junior Competitive: Choose this for junior Interclub players.

The Competitive add-on covers the direct costs to the club associated with Interclub, including the additional competitive affiliation fee (above the base social affiliation fee), team fees, ball fee, lights and court hire when playing away.

If you're already a member of another tennis club in the region, please contact us and we will send you a link to the relevant Second Club Membership. This is a reduced-fee membership, so you don't pay your tennis affiliation fee twice.

Household discounts

Two or more members from the same household are eligible for a family membership discount. Competitive add-ons can also be included in the family package, although the Competitive portion is not discounted. If you don't require a family discount, you are very welcome to purchase individual memberships directly through ClubSpark. Individual memberships also provide valuable support for the club.

Joining partway through the year

You can join the club at any time of the year. Pro-rata memberships are available for those joining partway through the membership year.

Pro-rata membership prices on the website are updated on the first of each month. The price displayed is the adjusted membership fee for the remainder of the current membership year, ending 30 September. This is not a simple linear pro-rata calculation because the NBTA affiliation fee is applied at the time of joining.

How is my membership fee used?

A portion of your membership fee is retained by the club for the ongoing maintenance and development of our facilities. The NBTA portion goes towards the development of tennis programmes regionally and nationally.

How do I pay my membership fees?

There are two ways to pay your fees:

• By credit or debit card via ClubSpark
• Directly into the club's bank account

We’re moving with the times and are pleased to offer payment for memberships by instalments. If you’d like to take this up, please contact us before purchasing a membership.

For those who choose to pay directly into the club's bank account, the account number is 03 1354 0349167 00. Please use your surname and “fees” as references, and email us at hello@nelsonlawntennisclub.com to let us know that payment has been made.

A new annual membership is required from 1 October each year, with membership fees due on or before 1 October.
