You don't have to be a member of Nelson Lawn Tennis Club to enjoy playing at the courts.

Our courts are available to members of the public, as well as our club members, any time that the club doesn't have any priority matches or events.

Book-a-court

You must reserve a court to play. Reserve your court and time online with our Book A Court system. You will receive a 4-digit pin code to access the courts at the alloted time. You will pay online with a debit or credit card and

Lights

If you play when it is dark, a cost for lights has been factored into the booking cost. When you are at the courts you will need to activate the lights for your court by going to the entry gate, entering your court number and pressing enter on the keypad. This can be done before or after you have opened the gate with your 4 digit PIN.

The lights will go off automatically at the end of your booking, unless there is another booking straight after yours.

A few tips:

• To protect the surfaces, please remove any leaves or rubbish, rather than trampling them in
• Rubbish: Our courts are maintained by club volunteers, so please be considerate and take any of your belongings and rubbish with you when you leave

Summer is a busy time at NLTC: During the height of the tennis season (mid October - mid March), all courts will be in use for coaching and interclub competition on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5.30pm until around 9pm.

One or two courts may be available for public/casual play during these times subject to official use.

Please be aware that while we welcome everyone and would love to see you on court, official play takes priority over casual play.
