NORTHCOTE TENNIS CLUB - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to the Northcote Tennis Club website (the "Website") and Northcote Tennis Club facilities (the "Club"). By accessing or using this website or visiting our Club, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use this website, or visit our Club.

1. Membership and Club Rules

1.1. Membership of Northcote Tennis Club is subject to the Club's constitution and bylaws. By becoming a member, you agree to abide by these rules.

1.2. All members and visitors to the Club must adhere to the Club's rules and regulations, including those related to court etiquette, booking procedures, and safety.

2. Court Bookings

2.1. Court bookings are subject to availability and must be made in accordance with the Club's booking policies.

2.2. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests follow the booking procedures and pay applicable guest fees.

2.3.  Only paid ‘active’ Club members have access to the online court booking system.

2.4. Paid coaching at the Club is only permitted by the Club's Head Coach or appointed assistant coaches. No member or visitor may coach any person at the Club for a fee or other remuneration.

3. Conduct and Behaviour

3.1. All members and visitors must conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner while at the Club. Disruptive, abusive, or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated.

3.2. Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated areas and in compliance with New Zealand laws.  As a licensed premises no alcohol is to be consumed unless purchased from the Club bar.

4. Liability and Safety

4.1. Members and visitors use the Club facilities and website at their own risk. Northcote Tennis Club is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damage to personal property.

4.2. Members and visitors should exercise caution and follow safety guidelines while using the Club's facilities.

5. Membership Fees

5.1. Membership fees are determined by the Club and are subject to change

5.2. Members are required to pay their membership fees and any other dues in a timely manner as specified by the Club.  New season membership fees are due from the 1st of September each season to remain an active member.

5.3. A grace period of two (2) months from the due date of any unpaid fees will be granted. During this grace period, members will still have access to Club facilities and services, but are unable to access the online Club court booking system.

5.4. If fees remain unpaid after the two-month grace period has expired, the Club reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of membership, as outlined in these Terms and the Club's constitution and bylaws.

5.5. The Club may also charge late payment fee of $30.00 per member on overdue amounts as specified in the Club's policies.

6. Privacy

6.1. Your use of this website and membership may involve the collection and use of personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

7. Termination of Membership

7.1. The Club reserves the right to terminate a member's membership at its discretion for non-compliance with these Terms, Club rules, or for any other reason deemed appropriate.

8. Changes to Terms

8.1. Northcote Tennis Club may modify these Terms at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

9. Governing Law

9.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
