Tahunanui Tennis Club

Tahunanui Tennis Club is located in the Tosswill Reserve at 131 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson. The Club was formed in 1922 on part of the reserve donated by the Toswill family. We are 5 minutes from the beach and within walking distance to holiday accommodation. We have four astroturf courts with shade cloth for wind protection and privacy.

The clubhouse has basic kitchen amenities, and there are two picnic tables in the outside grassed area, ideal for a barbecue.

We have over 80 members of all ages,  with junior programmes offering coaching and teams in the Nelson Bays interclub competitions.

Club Day is held every Saturday (except Christmas Day) from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Suitable for novice players and above, with all levels catered for. $2 for members, $7 for non-members. Visitors are welcome! 

Returning to tennis or a beginner new to the game,  come along on a Monday from 1.30 to 3:00 pm for some friendly play.

Casual Play Everyone is welcome to play at these courts. This is a public facility and is also home to Tahunanui Tennis Club. The courts are available for hire at $8 for minutes/per court (requires 4 x $2 coins).
