Registrations are now open to play NBTA Junior interclub tennis for Richmond Tennis club.

Interclub is a tennis competition organised by the Nelson Tasman Tennis Association and is available to children 8 and over.

The competition starts on  October 2024 and runs through to Mid March 2025, with an 8 week break from Mid December 2024 to Mid February 2025.

It is played weekly every Saturday from 8.30am to lunchtime at various clubs through out the region.
There is a league for most abilities and skill levels. Once you are registered we will start to organise teams

The grading structure  is not determined for this year yet but below was last years format as a guide.

REGISTER FOR JUNIOR INTERCLUB HERE

* Championship Grade (2 person teams, mixed gender teams allowed)
This grade is for the older top players. Teams for this league are usually created by the Junior
Convenor in consultation with the Coaches. Number dependent, there may be more than one
grade.

* B Grade & C Grade (2 person teams, mixed gender teams allowed)
Usually for Intermediate/College age players. This is a participation grade for players that want
competition but not at the championship grade level.

* Junior A Grade (Super 12s) (2 person teams, mixed gender teams allowed)
This grade is for the stronger junior players that have played interclub before. Usually Primary /
Intermediate age.

* Baseliners (2 person teams, mixed gender teams allowed)
Beginner interclub players, Primary/Intermediate age.

Note: All teams are usually 2 person, but can be 3 person teams if they are going to rotate players each
week, or when players will be away.
