Tennis Northland is committed to leading and strengthening tennis in Northland. We do this by working with our clubs, stakeholders and community to increase participation, develop the game and future proof tennis in our region. Our vision is to see more people playing more tennis, more often.

Tennis Northland’s goal is to make tennis more accessible to the people of Northland. To help us towards achieving our goal, we have five key focus areas that our strategy is aligned to: 

• Play and Participation: Enable our community to have more people playing more tennis more often.
• Club Support: Our clubs will have the tools and support to ensure they have effective leadership to succeed.
• Game Development: Enable players and coaches to maximise their potential. 
• Future Proof: To ensure our governance, finance, and culture are best practice and perfectly placed to support Tennis Northland into the future.
• Facilities: Regional facilities are fit for purpose and future proofed.

Our Facility

Our headquarters are at Thomas Neale Memorial Park, 56 Winger Crescent, Whangārei - a magnificent venue with 12 outdoor floodlit courts. Six are Plexipave and six are Astro Turf.  Casual bookings of these courts can be made through the 'Book a Court' page on our website.
