Whangarei Veterans Tennis

Whangarei Vets play at Thomas Neale Family Memorial Park, 42-56 Winger Crescent, Te Kamo, Whangārei on Tuesday mornings and Friday mornings from 8.30am to 10.15am.  $5 fee. Everybody is welcome.

Onerahi Tennis Club - Honesty Box

Onerahi Tennis Club have an honesty box system for the use of their tennis courts. Head along and have a hit with your mates at their stunning location off Ormiston Road in Onerahi. 

Free Public Courts - Kensington Park

In the summer months there are three free public courts available next to the playground beside Whangarei Netball Centre on Kensington Avenue.

Free Public Courts - Tamaterau Hall

There is a tennis court available for public use at Tamaterau Hall located on Whangārei Heads Road.

Free Public Courts - Ruatangata Community Hall

There are tennis courts at 1190 Pipiwai Road, Te Kamo, Ruatangata West 0176

Blind and Low Vision Tennis

Blind/Low Vision tennis has been developed to maintain the key aspects of traditional tennis, with play and scoring the same. The number of bounces, and the court size is modified for each different visual category, the ball is slightly larger, and it has a rattle in it to make it audible for the players to track it.
