Season’s Greetings to all our members.

There are a couple of things you need to know about so just a few updates:

• Subs are due now. $25 to Dave our treasurer asap. (03-0345-0001148-000) You need to be financial to take part in National Events. The individuals are soon and the teams event in North Harbour is not far away. (3-6 April)
• If you are taking a team to North Harbour, please get a quote for any accommodation and send to Dave by the end of January 2026. He will do his best to get funding to help out but no promises! Easter is at the start of April next year and having an application in for February is essential.
• Northland Masters Tennis Club Incorporated is now officially registered. Hopefully this will help with funding for various items.
• Our team for the TNZM 2027 Easter teams event (26-29 March 2027) has the organisation well in hand and are meeting in the New Year. Please promote this in your clubs or at tournaments. We will need people not playing to help out with a number of things.
• Congratulations to our members who did well at Mairtown. Raewyn Heywood and Maryanne Rogers winning the women’s A. Margaret Harper and Rose Lobb winning the women’s B. Paul Ramsay and Dave Lobb winning the men’s B
• Coming up are a number of local tournaments. Kaitaia Open -3 January, Janet Agnew 14-15 February, McLeod’s Waipu One Set Wonder 21 February, Malcolm Salmon Memorial Tournament 28 February, Lyle Turner Tournament 7 March. Let’s make sure Northland Masters members are well represented.
• Don’t forget there is Davis Cup tennis in the McKay Stadium on 7/8 February. A first for Northland Tennis.
