News update from Paul Ramsay, President of the Northland Tennis Seniors. 

The New Zealand Teams Tennis Event will be coming to Northland over Easter in 2027 (26-28 March).

We are pleased to have this event and look forward to many players from outside our region joining us for what should be a great weekend of tennis.

It is an opportunity for our own players to form teams and prove we are just as good as the rest of New Zealand.

Obviously, there will be a lot of work staging this event. Our clubs are already on board as we will have to use several venues. There will be more communication with clubs nearer the time.

As a Northland Senior Committee we have to organise the social side of things but will need extra help. We are hoping you will read this and say "I can help with that!"

In a couple of weeks time I will put out a fuller guide of what we know and what we need to do with an invite for people to come on board and help out.

Let's get the ball rolling soon and make this a splendid occasion.
