Notice of the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Tennis Northland Incorporated 

In accordance with the Tennis Northland Constitution, notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Tennis Northland Incorporated will be held as follows: 

• Date: Sunday 31 August 2025 
• Time: 1:00pm 
• Location: Thomas Neale Family Memorial Park, 42-56 Winger Crescent, Te Kamo, Whangārei 0112 
• Format: In person or via online video link (details to be provided to registered attendees) 

Agenda Items Will Include: 

1. Approval of minutes of the previous AGM and any SGM held since 
2. Presentation of Annual Report for the 2024/2025 financial year
3. Presentation of Reviewed Annual Financial Statements & Reviewer’s report 
4. Election of Elected Board Members (4 positions) 
5. Appointment of the Members’ Representative on the Board Appointments Panel (BAP) 
6. Appointment of the Patron 
7. Approval of the Tennis Northland Membership Fee for 2025/2026 
8. Appointment of Reviewer for the 2025/2026 Financial Year 
9. Appointment of any Life Members (if proposed) 
10. Any other general business properly submitted 

Board Positions 

As part of Tennis Northland’s transition to a new governance structure, all eight Board positions (4 Elected and 4 Appointed) will be vacant at this AGM and filled following the processes set out in the Constitution. Terms of office will be staggered based on the transition table. Further details are available in the supporting Board Applicant Information document.  

Submission Deadlines 

• Items of business (motions/resolutions): must be submitted by 1 August 2025 (unless the motion(s) or resolution(s) are to amend the Tennis Northland Constitution, in which case, the deadline for this is 20 July 2025). 
• Nominations for Elected & Appointed Board Members: due by 1 August 2025. 

Attendance and Voting 

• Each Club is entitled to send two Delegates, one of whom shall act as their Voting Delegate. 
• Delegates may attend in person or online. 
• All attendees must RSVP by Thursday, 28 August 2025 to admin@tennisnorthland.org.nz
