Senior Interclub

This is an opportunity to represent the Richmond Tennis Club against other clubs and players in the region and play regularly each week. You can play in one or more teams.

The 2023/24 season is now finished

The next competition runs from October 2024 until late March 2025 with a break from mid-December until the end of Jan/ start of Feb..

NOTE: You need to be a member of the club to be elligable for NBTA Senior interclub.

Ball fees will vary per player depending on the grade and how many teams you are playing in and invoices will be sent to players later in the season.

Monday Women's Monday AM Start Time 9.30am

Teams 4 person teams

Format 3 matches, each player partners each of the other players on the team

Scoring All matches up to 9 7-point tie break at 8 all

Deuces Short deuce to be played to player of corresponding merit.

Monday Men's DIV 2 Start Time 5.45pm Intermediate level of play

Teams 4 person teams

Format Each player will play one doubles and one singles

3 & 4 play singles first, 1 & 2 play doubles first

Scoring Doubles; best of 3 sets, 7 point tie break at 6 all, 10 point match tiebreak at 1 set all

Singles; best of 3 sets, 7 point tie break at 6 all, 10 point match tiebreak at 1 set all

Format Pairings; 1&2 V 1&2, 3&4 V 3&4, then 1&3V1&3, 2&4 V 2&4.

Scoring Best of 3 sets, conventional tie break at 6 all, match tie break 3rd set

Wednesday Women's Doubles DIV 1 Start Time 5.45pm (Competitive Doubles) Experienced to advanced level of play

Teams 2 person teams

Format One doubles match

Scoring 3 full sets played. 7-point tie break at 6 all. Third set played either as deciding set at 1 set

all or as an additional set for extra match play. No bonus points will apply.
