Winter at TKHP - Still Plenty Happening!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Club Celebration Day. It was a wonderful chance to recognise the outstanding achievements of our players and coaches and to celebrate another successful year for our club.

While winter has well and truly arrived, there are still plenty of ways to stay active and connected at TKHP.

Check out our regular pickleball session times on our website and make the most of the social tennis play opportunities throughout the week.

We also have a number of exciting events coming up over the next couple of months-something for everyone, whether you're looking to play, compete, or simply enjoy the club atmosphere.

Keep an eye out for updates and come along to stay involved this winter!

Celebrate Matariki at the Club - Friday 10 July

Join us as we celebrate Matariki with a Club Open Day and BBQ!

Come down and enjoy a fun day of tennis, pickleball, and great company. Whether you're a regular member, new to the club, or bringing along family and friends, everyone is welcome.

There will be plenty of opportunities to get on court, have a hit, try something new, and catch up with fellow members over a BBQ.

Come along, get involved, and celebrate Matariki with your club community.

Annual General Meeting - Saturday 8 August

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday 8 August at 3:30 pm in the clubhouse.

We encourage all members to attend and gain a better understanding of how the club is managed, our achievements over the past year, and our plans for the future.

This year's AGM is particularly important as we will be calling for nominations for several key committee positions, including:

  • Chairperson
  • Secretary
  • Vice President

Serving on the committee is a rewarding way to contribute to the continued success of the club and help shape its future direction.

This is your opportunity to have a say in the club you belong to.

We look forward to seeing as many members as possible at the AGM.

Love Tennis 2026 - Save the Date!

Love Tennis is coming this September!

This nationwide tennis community event is celebrated by clubs across New Zealand and is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our club and welcome new players to the game.

Be sure to mark the date in your calendar:

Sunday 13 September
10:00 am - 2:00 pm

More information will be available closer to the event, but for now, save the date and get ready to share your love of tennis with the wider community!

Love the courts? Help support them.
Balls don't bounce for free, and neither do the lights, nets, mowing, cleaning, and maintenance.

If you spot regular players who may not be members or who haven't paid court fees, please point them in the right direction to join the club or pay online.

A friendly reminder today helps keep the club thriving tomorrow.

It is with sadness that we acknowledge the passing of long-time club member Katherine Baird.  Katherine was a valued member of our club community for many years and will be remembered for her friendship, support, and contribution to the club. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.

Introducing Meilin

Meilin is a recent addition to our Committee and has kindly taken on the role of enhancing our social media presence. A new Instagram page will soon be launched to complement our Facebook page, giving us another great way to share club news, achievements, and activities. Keep an eye out for details on how to follow us.

If you capture any great moments at TKHP, we'd love to see them! Please email your photos, along with a brief description or context, to social@tkhptennis.nz. Meilin will use selected images in our Facebook and Instagram posts, as well as future club communications, helping us showcase the people and activities that make our club such a great community.
