| The club proudly hosted the 51st Annual Lawn Court Masters Doubles Tournament in January, and we extend a huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to make it such a success. Thanks to the collective effort of our members and supporters, we are delighted to report that over $4,400 was raised for the club. As always, Christine ran a wonderfully organised event, supported by committee members Michelle, Trevor, Q, Mark, Bryce, Hugo, Vicky and Tim, along with the invaluable behind-the-scenes help from our treasurer Larissa. Rosie ran the popular raffle and silent raffles - congratulations and thank you to all those who took part. Our club's ethos is built on volunteering - and there's always room for more helping hands. Hosting tournaments is an important way we generate funds to meet the many overheads required to keep the club thriving, so we are committed to running events that are both enjoyable and financially positive for the club. Carolyn Swanston, a long-term club member who has unsuccessfully over the years put bids in for the Trusttum artwork - this year she is very happy to be the final bidder. Thank you to the Picklers who turned up to help assemble our new pickleball nets this week. These will be living on court 5, and are available to all members. A huge thank you to Pelorus Trust for providing funding towards pickleball and tennis nets. At the end of March we are hosting the postponed January pickleball tournament.
