Cancellations (Saturday contests)

 

  1. Cancellations due to inclement weather will determined by the team captains/ co captains on the day of play, and will communicate with their players. This will be made by both team captains to agree to cancel/delay play due to weather or to proceed as scheduled.

The cancellation of play is NOT a Tennis Otago decision.

 

Players are to report to the venue, unless the captains have notified the players prior to the start of play. If play is still not possible 30 minutes after the contest was due to start, the captains may then agree to cancel the contest and will notify Tennis Otago (via email to admin@tennisotago.org) if cancelled. Any team that leaves the venue before 30 mins after the scheduled start time will be deemed to have defaulted.
