HEAD COACH - GAJANE VAGE
Pakuranga Tennis Club proudly welcomes Gajane Vage as our Head Coach in January 2026
Originally from Estonia, Gajane brings over 14 years of coaching experience spanning Estonia and Vienna, Austria. As an ITF-qualified coach, she has developed players at all levels, from beginners to international competitors, and is committed to fostering strong technical foundations, smart match play, and a lifelong love for tennis.
Gajane is not only an accomplished coach but also an outstanding athlete in her own right.
She competed internationally with notable success throughout her junior and professional years, including:
- Estonia Junior Champion – 5 consecutive years
- International Championship, Finland (2004) – 1st Place
- International Championship, Sweden (2004) – Semi finalist
- Estonian Women’s Tennis Championship (2004–2005) – Runner-up
- ITF Junior World Ranking: Top 200
Her international experience, both as a player and a coach, gives her a unique ability to understand the demands on aspiring athletes and to help players reach their highest potential.
Beyond the court, Gajane is multilingual, speaking four languages, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, further enhancing her communication skills, leadership style, and ability to connect with players of diverse backgrounds.
As Head Coach at Pakuranga Tennis Club, Gajane will lead a range of programs for juniors and adults. She will be supported by a team of qualified assistant coaches who serve as hitting partners and provide specialised support to help players refine their technique and elevate their performance.
With her expertise, energy, and passion for player development, Gajane is set to make a significant and positive impact on the Pakuranga Tennis community.
