Mid-Winter Christmas Fundraiser - a Wonderful Success!

What a fantastic evening we shared at our Mid-Winter Christmas Fundraiser!

It was wonderful to see so many new and old members, friends and supporters come together for a night filled with laughter, generosity and festive spirit.

From the moment guests arrived they knew they were in for a magical evening.  

The atmosphere was warm and inviting with beautifully dressed tables all set for the delicious feast to come, while the mouth-watering aroma of delicious food welcomed everyone inside.

Once our resident band " Foot Fault " took to the stage, the dance floor remained packed for the rest of the night. Their entertaining performance had everyone singing, dancing and thoroughly enjoying themselves including Annie on her crutches. 

The generosity shown throughout the evening was truly inspiring. Our auctions and raffles were incredibly well supported; we received one very generous anonymous donation of $10,000 while the excitement around our "Sponsor a Song" reached a whole new level! The bidding was nothing short of thrilling before John Richardson finally secured the winning bid of $5,000 to dedicate a special song to his wife — a memorable moment that had the whole room cheering. 

Events like these remind us all of what makes Pakuranga Tennis Club such a special place. They are about so much more than just fundraising—they bring our community together, strengthen and create friendships and provide lasting memories.

All of this while helping us move closer and closer to our goal of relocating to Lloyd Elsmore Park.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered, bid in the auctions, bought raffle tickets, sponsored songs and helped make the evening such an outstanding success. Together we raised an incredible total of $18,554.
