At Tennis Central, we're committed to shaping the future of tennis by focusing on the development of our most promising junior players.

Recently, Tennis New Zealand (TNZ) conducted a comprehensive review of its junior regional performance programme framework, resulting in modifications. Tennis Central has aligned the Tennis Central Junior Regional Performance Programme (TCJRPP) to adhere to this updated framework.

TNZ has delegated the running of the TCJRPP to Tennis Central, and will remain actively involved in supporting the Programme. Funding for the programme is a collaborative effort between TNZ and Tennis Central, supplemented by a user pays element.

The programme is designed to complement existing club, coach, academy and association training programmes, and will operate mostly at the Wellington Renouf Tennis Centre on Friday nights.

The modified programme is set to commence in Term 2, 2024.
