Position: Club Contact

Starts: 1st September 2026

Training: provided

Hours: 3-4 hours per week during the season & 1-2 hours per week off season on average.

Pay: Payment for the role is negotiable as a contractor or it can be a volunteer role with honorary club membership.

Responsibilities:

Manage the info@balmactennis.co.nz email. Reply to enquiries or forward on emails to others running the club.

Become familiar with Clubspark so you can send out regular club communication via emails to members and also edit or retrieve information. 

Help Peter, Club President, with applying for funding from Trusts.

You will be on the Club Committee with 8-10 others. There's the AGM on Sunday August 30th 5pm and a meeting usually in December and one in April.

"If you want something done, ask a busy person". A "busy" person, like those already helping, is the ideal person, as they have the skills needed. Because you are reading this then you will already have the passion for the club and tennis needed.

Senior Club Champs were held on Saturday 18th, Sunday 19th of April. Thank you to Rick for organising it. More info

Social Tennis for Youth & Adult combined until Tuesday 22nd September 2026

At the Edgar Centre on Tuesdays 6-8pm and at the club on Sundays from 1:00 to 3:00pm. More Info
