Notes:
1. Men’s DIVISION 1 will be played on Saturday afternoons, 12 noon start.
Interclub competition starts on Saturday 30 September – 16 December.
From January 27, 2024 closed tournaments will be introduced. Individual players will need to enter these tournaments by the Thursday before the tournament. Closed Tournament dates: Jan 27, Feb 10, March 2, 23
No play on 25 Nov or 24 Feb (Southern Open Teams Event dates) and on event weekends 13/14 Nov and 19/20 Feb.
2. Women’s DIVISION will be played on Sundays, 12pm start

7. No Senior interclub will be played on 21 October – Labour Weekend 2023, 3 February2024 – Waitangi Weekend, 9 March 2024 –Otago Open.
8. Team entries due 14th of September, 2023.
Closed Tournament Information:
1. The Closed Tournaments will be held on the dates stated above.
2. Players who do not enter the tournaments will be eligible to play in Division 2.
3. Entries for the closed tournaments to be in by the Thursday before each tournament.
4. There will be a $10 fee for registered Otago club members. Players not registered with an Otago club will be charged a $20 fee for entry.
5. Each tournament will be run over one day. Entry limit of 16 players per tournament.

Division 1, 2 and Mixed Club Captain: Russell Drew rdrew@xtra.co.nz or text his cell 021 2109215. WhatsApp may be used this season, please sign on. Team Practice starts in the week before competition and is organised by the team captain.
All senior teams in club approved competitions will be supplied Technofibre balls, as needed, from the club. Captains to contact Sarah Stevenson 034640378 to obtain cans of balls. Four balls for 4 player teams and 2 balls for 2 player teams for each Team.

Mixed Social Student and Adult combined
Winter Social Tennis
Starting Tuesday 9th April until 24th September 2024. Tuesdays 6-8pm Edgar Centre and Sundays from 3-5pm at the club. If wet it maybe at the Edgar Centre.
Organised Doubles play for Adult and Students Combined. Interclub and Beginner players combined and balls are provided. Bar open.
Organised on the night with balls included. Bar open afterwards. We will try to arrange those who are there in combinations so that players of different abilities have good competitive matches.

Xpress Student/Adult Beginner Coaching and Tennis
Tennis Xpress: Student/Adult Coaching on selected Fridays 6:00 to 7:00pm 6 lessons. Minimum 4 with each coach. There will also be Social Beginner Level Tennis 1pm to 2:30pm the following Sunday included (subject to numbers). This program is the most enjoyable way to learn tennis for adult beginner and intermediate players. We aim to make your tennis experience an enjoyable and rewarding one by providing the best certified coaches. Contact Sarah Stevenson 034640378 to join
Beginner Adults over 16 years or Students@High School 13 - 17 years. Lessons and light tennis only. Coaching on Fridays 6pm to 7pm on selected dates in season.

Casual Tennis for non-members
Court Hire is available from the Otago Golf Club lounge bar for $20 per session. They will give you the Key Code. Please wear white sole shoes and no skateboarding, golf studs or chewing gum allowed.
Golf Club members are allowed to play casually for free and can join the Tennis Club at a discounted rate. See Membership for details
Pickle Ball
Run on Sundays 1:30pm at the club through the winter. $10 per session. Organised by Mat Mc Cutcheon with all gear provided. Come along and join in the fun.
Ball Machine
Yes we have a Lobster Elite ball machine. It is stored in our club rooms by the lower hard courts. You can hire it for the season and buy a key to access it. You need to follow the rules when using it and charge it up afterwards. You can add this on to your sub when you register
