Jnr Interclub
Junior interclub is played on a Saturday morning throughout Dunedin, which is run by Tennis Otago each week.
Juniors receiving coaching can join a club competition team to play in Term 1 2025. Just need to be able to serve, rally the ball and keep score. It is important to continue with the coaching as well.
If new to the club please make contact with the Junior Captain. Players from last season keen to play this season need to let their Junior Captain know
All grades are played with Technifibre balls being the regional ball sponsor.
If you wish to take part in Junior interclub please contact Dean Fraser.

2026-2027 Competition News
We are pleased to confirm the format and key details for the upcoming Junior Interclub season and would appreciate clubs, coaches and other organisations sharing this information with their members or players.
Interclub Format
This season, we will continue to run two divisions simultaneously. The divisions are intended to cater to players of differing experience and competitive levels:
- Division 1 is designed for competitive and experienced junior players seeking a higher level of competition.
- Division 2 is designed for less experienced and developing players, providing a supportive environment to build skills, confidence, and match experience.
Season Dates
The first half of the Junior Interclub 2026/27 Season will start on Saturday 17 October and is scheduled to finish on Saturday 12 December. Following the summer break, the second half of the season starts on Saturday 13 February and is expected to finish on Saturday 3 April
Match Locations and Times
Division 1 and Division 2 games will occur at the same time but in two different locations.
Division 1 will take place on the Tennis Courts at the Stevenson Tennis Centre, while Division 2 games will take place at the Otago Boys High School Tennis Grounds/Dome on Stuart Street.
Division 1 and 2 Games will commence every Saturday at 9:00am, but venues will be open from 8:45am for warm-up.
This schedule has been designed to ensure Junior Interclub does not overlap with Senior Interclub commitments.
