Interclub
Senior interclub is played on a Saturday afternoon throughout Dunedin, which is run by Tennis Otago each week.

As promised, here is a recap of our Interclub meeting last Thursday.
Div 1 and 2 will be combined to form a Premier grade to allow variety each week for all teams / players rather than only have a small comp with four teams and playing each other every second week.
This will be made up ideally of 8 teams and can include top women players in the comp.
Players will play in order so matches should be even.
The season will likely be made up of several smaller comps to try accommodate university players. Clubs will have the ability to adjust teams between comps as required.
Premier grade will include singles and doubles matches.
All fixtures will be played on Saturdays, unless there are catch up games due to rain postponement.
Premier grade will commence at 12pm sharp. Teams that are not ready to go at the start time will forfeit games.
At this stage, we will not have a separate womens league, due to the limited numbers available. It is anticipated, all women that want to play will easily be accommodated in the Premier or Mixed grades.
Mixed grade will remain largely unchanged. Some consideration to be given if Mixed start time remains at 1pm sharp. Teams that are not ready to go at the start time will forfeit games.
Fixtures will alternate between being hosted by clubs and the Edgar Centre. Opening and closing days will be held at the Stevensons Centre with a BBQ etc. Clubs will ensure courts are booked.
Tie breaks are to 7, with deciding super ties going to 10.
Deuces will be short (2 point) deuces.
All draws will have finals.
Attempts are being made to reach out to Lakes and North Otago to hold inter - area competitions during the season.
Competition start dates are aimed at 5th Sept for Premier and 19th Sept for Mixed.
Start looking at your teams and players. I am happy to facilitate another catch up for team captians to discuss any potential player swaps etc to make up teams or make the teams fair.
