Club Sessions

Our club sessions are Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9.30am-12.00pm September to December, and 9.00am-12.00pm February to May.

There are organised games during the mornings and we can arrange childminding while you play during the summer season. The Club has a safe and fun play area, both inside and outside for young children.

Courts continue to be available for Midweek play during the winter months.  Courts 1 and 2 are booked during this time from 9.30am-12.00pm on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for informal play.  Just turn up and organise yourselves. There is no childminding during the winter months.

Roster

Members are rostered on for duties during the summer season.

Club days running smoothly depend on people turning up on their rostered duty day. If you are not available to do your duty please organise a swap with someone else.    For an up-to-date copy of the current roster for Pre-Christmas 2020 contact Lesley Cicone.

Interclub Competitions

Summer Pre- and Post Christmas Competitions

Tennis Central Region runs Midweek Tennis Interclub Pre-Christmas and Post-Christmas Competitions with several grades on Monday and Friday mornings during the summer season.  The Midweek section enters several teams in this competition in various grades reflecting all ability levels. Teams of 4-5 members play each Monday from October-November and February-March.

Friday mornings are for Mixed Grade teams, and is an open grade.

If it rains on Mondays or Fridays another day must be found to play the match.

Note that Teams have 9 midweek days to play any deferred games.  If this is not possible, they must ring their club delegate (Sharon Cottrell), who will ring the match committee to request an extension.

Winter Competition

Tennis Central Region runs a Midweek competition during the winter. This is not a club-based competition. Details may be found on the Tennis Central website.
