Tennis in the Nelson Bays region started back in the late 19th century.

Nelson Bays Tennis Association (NBTA) has been operating in its present form since 1997.  Organising and administering events and programmes for the region’s affiliated clubs and schools. 

Our aim is to provide a means for current and potential players to access the information they require for a successful tennis experience.

Our Vision:

Creating opportunities for everyone to participate in the game of tennis.

NBTA operates with an executive committee and a management team, who meet on a monthly basis.   Club delegates and members are welcome to join these meetings.   Monthly meetings take place every second Monday of the month, for details contact  jim@tennisnelson.co.nz
