We welcome all Junior members to register for Interclub teams - both those who have played before but most importantly, new players. Our focus as a club is all about getting out there and giving it a go!

Junior Interclub Information
How to Register:

If you're uncertain if you're ready for interclub, head along to our Club Open Day/Love Tennis Day (Sun, 8th Sept 10am-2pm) to ask questions, have your skills assessed by a coach, and register/pay in person.
Pre-requisites:
Basic serving abilities (underarm serving is allowed)
Basic game & scoring knowledge
Fully paid up Junior or Family Membership for 24/25 season*
Paid Junior Interclub Fee*

24/25 Season Dates:
Pre-Xmas: 18 Oct to 8 Dec (no matches over Labour weekend)
Post-Xmas: 14 Feb - 30 Mar
Ideally you should be able to commit to both pre & post Xmas seasons, as all teams are automatically re-entered into the Post-Xmas season.
Team Age groups are as follows (as at 30 April 2025):
10 & under mixed teams - play Sunday mornings *
12 & under Boys and Girls - play Saturday mornings
15 & under Boys and Girls - play Saturday mornings/afternoons
18 & under Boys and Girls - play Friday afternoons
Premier (any age - ability based) - play Sunday mornings/afternoons
* Note the change of day for 10u age group from Wednesday afternoons last season to Sunday mornings for this season
24/25 Interclub competition starts:
18u: Fri, 18 Oct 5pm - 7pm
12u: Sat, 19 Oct 8am - 10.30am
15u: Sat, 19 Oct 10.30am - 12.30pm or 1pm - 3pm
10u: Sun, 20 Oct 8.30am - 11am
Prem: Sun, 20 Oct 11am - 1.30pm
24/25 Season Membership & Interclub Fees:
To play interclub juniors must be a fully paid-up member of Ngataringa Tennis Club for the 24/25 season and have paid the small additional Junior Interclub Fee (FY23/24 interclub fee was $30 which covered the full season).
New season Membership Fees and Interclub Fees will be set at our AGM on 11 August 2024 and will be able to be paid via the Club website shortly thereafter.
Unpaid fees as of 18 October 2024 may result in being unable to play for the team, and we really don't want that to happen!
Additional Information:
We currently do not hold trials. Teams are selected by the Club Coach and Junior Convenor. Several teams are available for different skill levels and friend requests can be considered but not always possible.
Each team also needs a manager. A pre-season manager meeting will be held approx. 1-2 weeks before the start of the season to provide you with balls, book & answer any questions.
We also set up a Group app for all Managers and Junior Convenor to provide you with information and ongoing support throughout the season (you aren't alone!!).
Unfortunately we do not currently have a club shirt available for purchase, due to our supplier having stock issues. We will update you if we secure a new supplier.
