Juniors
What a season it's been for our JUNIORS!
This April, we ended our junior tennis season with our best Junior Club Champs since pre Covid days. Over three days our juniors have played over 85 matches, eaten nearly 40 pizzas, and an unknown quantity of chocolate fish!
The tennis matches were epic and it was clear to see the huge improvement in all their tennis. Well done to all of you who took part, and a special congratulations to those who took the plunge and played in their first ever matches.
Our interclub teams had a cracking season as well with:
- 5 teams winning their grades
- 3 teams coming runners-up
- 7 teams placing 3rd

Finally thank you to our Tennis Plus NZ coaches and parents - for providing our juniors with tennis basics, encouragement and support throughout the season. You're all amazing!
Juniors - you're an inspiration to all senior members and you should be proud of your achievements.
All juniors and their families are invited to our Juniors' End of Season Party and Prizegiving on Friday, 14 June starting at 6.30pm. It's our chance to acknowledge our winning/runners up interclub teams, and club champ winners (both main draw and plate winners plus runners up). There's also special awards handed out as determined by our coaches and junior convenors. Courts are booked for pre and post prizegiving for a hit too.
Thanks for being part of our great junior members revival season, and have a great winter (be it winter tennis or other winter sports).
