A very warm welcome to the Ōmokoroa Community Tennis Club family! We’re so excited to have you join us, and we can’t wait to see you out on court. Here’s a quick introduction to our team and what’s happening at the club:

🎾 Club Play Times

• Club Evenings: Every Tuesday from 6pm
• Club Days: Every Saturday from 2pm
• Fun Mixed Doubles: On the first Tuesday of every month, run by John Whitfield – always a great night!

• Business House Competitions: Running throughout the year Organised by Andrew Easton and Anna Cave
• Child and Jnr School Term Coaching & Activities first and fourth terms Sat Morn: Organised by our Head Coach Peter O Dea and assistant Coach Olivia Desset
• Junior Interclub is played first and fourth Terms
• Ad-hoc Fun Events: Keep an eye on our website or Facebook page for updates
• Junior Squad coaching throughout the year on Wednesdays Organised by Olivia Desset

🌍 Tournaments

Interested in playing in tournaments? These are run all over Tauranga and the wider region and are open to a range of levels. You can check out what’s coming up – and register to play – through the official Tennis NZ tournament software here:

👕 Club Shirts

We also have club shirts available for both juniors and seniors. They’re a great way to show your support and advertise the club when you’re out playing! Please let us know if you’d like to purchase one.

🎓 Coaching with Olivia

Our Club Captain, Olivia Desset, is also a qualified assistant coach. She runs:

• Saturday morning junior coaching in Terms 1 and 4 in conjunction with our Head Coach Peter O Dea
• Junior Squads throughout the year Wednesdays

• Coaching for homeschooled children
